What is the Knowledge Base?
The Knowledge Base stores documents that the AI can reference in your chats. Upload company docs, product info, or any content you want the AI to know about.

Which plans include Knowledge Base?
Knowledge Base is included in:
- Professional: 100 pages per seat per month, $0.05 per additional page
- Enterprise: Custom limits
The Standard plan does not include Knowledge Base.
What sources can I connect?
You can add content from:
- Direct upload: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, MD, HTML, CSV, images
- Google Drive: Sync documents automatically
- Notion: Connect your Notion workspace
- Confluence: Import your team's wiki pages
Go to Knowledge Base > Connections > Add a Connection to set up integrations.

Does the AI automatically use my Knowledge Base?
Yes. The AI automatically searches your Knowledge Base when your question seems relevant. You can also pin documents to a specific chat so the AI always considers them.

Is my Knowledge Base data private?
Yes. Your Knowledge Base is completely private to your workspace.
- Other Menturi customers cannot access it
- We do not use it to train AI models
- Data is encrypted at rest and in transit
Why can't the AI find my document?
A few things to check:
- Make sure the document finished processing (look for the status indicator)
- Try pinning the document to your chat
- Check that the document content is text-based (scanned PDFs need OCR)
- Use keywords that appear in the document

What is document pinning?
Pinning attaches a document to a specific chat. The AI will always consider that document's content when responding in that chat.

What are the usage limits?
Professional plan includes 100 pages per seat per month. Additional pages cost $0.05 each. You can enable "Block at limit" in settings to prevent overage charges.
