What is the Knowledge Base?

Your Knowledge Base stores documents that the AI can reference when answering your questions. Upload files or connect cloud storage, and the AI will use your company knowledge to give more relevant answers.

Getting Started

  1. Go to Settings > Knowledge Base
  2. Upload files directly, or click Connections > Add a Connection to sync Google Drive, Notion, or Confluence
  3. Wait for processing to complete
  4. Start chatting β€” the AI will automatically reference your documents when relevant

How the AI Uses Your Documents

The AI automatically searches your Knowledge Base when your question seems relevant. You can also:

  • Pin documents to a specific chat so the AI always considers them
  • Ask explicitly: "Based on our brand guidelines, ..."

Organization-Wide Access

Documents in the Knowledge Base are available to everyone in your organization. This makes it perfect for:

  • Brand guidelines and style guides
  • Product documentation
  • Company policies and procedures
  • Training materials

Usage Limits

Professional plan includes:

  • 100 pages per seat per month
  • Additional pages: $0.05 per page

You can enable "Block at limit" in settings to prevent overage charges.

Plan Availability

The Standard plan does not include Knowledge Base.
