How do I start a new chat?

Click the + New Chat button in the sidebar, or use the keyboard shortcut Shift + Cmd/Ctrl + O.

How do I search my chats?

Press Cmd/Ctrl + K to open search, or use the search bar. You can search by chat title and last message.

Which AI model should I use?

It depends on your task:

  • Everyday tasks: Claude Sonnet 4.5 or GPT-5.1
  • Complex analysis: Claude Opus 4.6, GPT-5.2, or Gemini 3 Pro
  • Quick questions: GPT-5 mini, GPT-5 nano, or Gemini 3 Flash

Can I switch models mid-conversation?

Yes. Click the model name in the chat input area and select a different model. The new model sees your full conversation history.

What file types can I upload to a chat?

You can upload documents (PDF, Word, text files), spreadsheets (Excel, CSV), images (PNG, JPG, GIF), and code files.
