  2. Pick a model from the model selector. You can change it anytime.
  3. Optional: turn on tools like Web search or Image generation in Settings.

Switching models mid-chat keeps your conversation history. Costs follow the model you use for each message.

Private vs Public chats

Private chats (🔒)
  • Only visible to you
  • Solo accounts: all chats are private
  • Business workspaces: choose Private when creating a new chat
Public chats (Business workspaces only)
  • Visible to everyone in your workspace
  • Use @name to tag teammates (e.g., @Daniel or @everyone)
  • Great for keeping team context in one thread
  • Choose Public when creating a new chat, or switch via Visibility settings

Switch models mid-chat

Change the model in the chat header anytime. Your conversation history stays intact—only the new model answers that message. See Models for more details on choosing and switching models.

Connect your knowledge base

  1. Connect sources in Knowledge base (Notion, Confluence, or Drive).
  2. Ask questions in any chat.
  3. When answers cite your sources, click references to see where content came from.
See Knowledge base for more details on connecting sources and citations.

Manage a chat

  • Rename: right-click on the chat in the sidebar to rename it.
  • Delete: right-click on the chat in the sidebar to delete it.

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t switch models: check if the model is disabled by your admin.
  • No citations from your docs: confirm the source is connected and included in the knowledge base.
